ONA ARA STUDENTS' UNION LAUDED ILAJI  AND FODEI

The newly inaugurated Chairman of ONAARA STUDENTS UNION, Àmòtékùn Oluwemimo Solomon Oyinlola lauded ilaji hotels and sport resorts for  bringing mammoth development to the Local Government and give kudos to FODEI foundation for putting several things in places in an effort to alleviate poverty in the local Government sequel to the empowerment programs and gift of cash powered by the foundation.

The chairman during his inauguration speech ascertain that ILAJI and FODEI remain the only private organizations that have bring prominent positive developments to the land.

BEING THE INAUGURATION SPEECH OF ONA ARA STUDENTS' UNION  NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, ÀMÒTÉKÙN OLUWEMIMO SOLOMON OYINLOLA (CONFIDENCE), AT THE INAUGURATION CEREMONY, THIS DAY JANUARY 16, 2021 AT ASEGUN GROUP OF SCHOOLS HALL ASOLO, IBADAN.

PROTOCOLS

I give thanks to Almighty God for granting me and everyone here  the opportunity of been able to witness this day. It is never a right but a great privilege granted to us due to the magnanimity of the almighty .

I give thanks to all OSUITES , stakeholders, pioneer members, friends, and every personnel that have in one way or the other contributed to yesterday that obviously birthed an awesome today .

Yesterday is always a tool that have eighty percent capability to engineer today while today also have the ability to partially dictate what tomorrow may bring, although, everybody is naive of who will have that Tomorrow but antecedent always pave way for  achievements. Today, we are given the mandate to serve ONA ARA STUDENTS' UNION in the next one calendar year. We shall make use of it to build antecedent that will later pave way for much more achievements.

ONA ARA is a well know Local Government that have manufactured well-meaningful Leaders, Stakeholders, Heroes, Lieutenants and Elites. ONA-ARA has always been the home of activists, freedom fighters and a pacesetter in which we shall maintain the quality as the prominent and major students' Union of the Local Government. We shall make the union the pacesetter of every other local unions.

Myself with co executive shall strive for the development of the union and the local Government at large.

 

We shall engage with government and private organizations to make life easier for every students in the constituency and the community at large .

Apart from private citadels of learning, ILAJI Remains the only Organization that have bring prominent positive developments to the constituency, while Funmi Obisesan Development and Empowerment Initiative (FODEI) foundation is obviously the major foundation that has truly put it upon herself to stab and kill poverty in the land. While we say this is to charge them to do more. 

We will make sure we monitor other institutions. If they are doing before but not enough, we will try our very best to charge them to do more.

We are still wondering why private organizations and foundations are still folding hand towards the development of our dear  community. I believe its high time they also give back to the society and also inevitably contribute to the development of our land. 

Although ONA-ARA is the home of warlords but also attributed as the most peaceful Local Government in the state in which the just concluded ENDSARS protest has obviously revealed that.

We shall continue to work with government agencies to maintain the peace we are known for.

It will be nice to note that the present administration of the Local Government have been trying possible best to make our home a better place and we shall extend our cooperate hand to them to bring out the best, Although we have some certain  questions to ask them in the coming days.

Taking ONA-ARA STUDENTS' UNION to the promise land will be  the major assignment and I believe that we shall be great as we all strive for the development of our dear Local Government.

I wish to thank the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Musibau Sanusi(Shabah) for the support so far and I shall be ungrateful if I neglect the outstanding contribution of Hon. Arc. Akande Ifeoluwa (Chairman of today's event) for today success. I appreciate the fatherly support of our dear Patron Ambassador Kolapo Temitope and the invaluable support of our Union Advisers so far, Mr. Oladipupo Olalekan, Proff Yemi, .Amb. Ajani Temitope and Dcs. Olaniyan We shall continue making you proud.

 Also, I thank the S. A on Students' Affairs to the Governor, Hon. Victor Olojede for his relentless effort towards the success of the inauguration.

 I shall never fail to attest and appreciate the huge moral and financial support of Funmi Obisesan Development and Empowerment Initiative (FODEI) Foundation toward making today colourful .

I specially thank my unreplaceable mother in the person of Comrade Oluwemimo Deborah O. for always standing by me and always support every positive idea of mine.

FIBSU National my home under the leadership of Aare Olalekan Yusuff A (Lexiphyll). I'm so much honored for the inestimable experience gathered within the short time. Ibadan oni baje o.

Our dear Union couldn't have been this functional and elaborate, if not because of the mentorship gotten from the most revered leader Asoju Odo Alawode Rahman Akintunde. Thanks for having us at heart always. May your days be long and pure.
